Dr. Carl B. Tubbs

Dr. Tubbs joined Associated Eye Care in 1993. He received his medical degree with high honors from the University of Washington and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota, where he received the “Householder Award” for compassionate patient care. He is fellowship-trained in the field of glaucoma through the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Tubbs practices comprehensive ophthalmology and provides general ophthalmic care, including the treatment of diabetes and cataracts, but has a special interest in the medical and surgical management of all types of glaucoma. Dr. Tubbs has an Adjunct Associate Professorship at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Minnesota and is involved in teaching at the VA Medical Center.

Dr. Tubbs is a triathlete and has an avid interest in astronomy and cosmology. He and his wife have two children.
