Dr. Lang joined Associated Eye Care in 2006. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. He was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, and received several awards for excellence in patient care and contact lens expertise. Dr. Lang then completed a cornea and specialty contact lens residency in Boston, MA. Through this additional education he gained expertise in ocular disease, therapeutic contact lenses and surgical co-management. He was excited to return to his home state of Minnesota in 2004 to work at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Ophthalmology in clinical research, education and patient care. Dr. Lang is currently an adjunct clinical faculty member for both The Ohio State University and The New England College of Optometry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry after passing the inaugural board certification exam in 2011. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is also involved in clinical research and lecturing at meetings.

Dr. Lang and his wife enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and spending time outdoors. He is also an avid fly-fisherman and enjoys fly-tying.
